Conducting complex, client-specific risk analyses for reinsurance structuring as well as for internal risk management
Actuarial portfolio analyses, model development and simulation analyses for the non-life business of national and international insurance companies
Quoting reinsurance covers and advising on reinsurance strategy with consideration of individual client objectives
Presenting analytical findings and results in meetings and workshops with global and national clients in the DACH region, and actively contributing to our client events
Preparing comparative studies and reports on actuarial analyses and projects
Designing and implementing structured reinsurance solutions
Participating in core projects for model validation, model adjustment and process optimization, as well as further developing analytical methods within international project teams
Advisory work in the regulatory environment of the insurance industry, with a focus on Solvency II and local accounting regulations
Providing actuarial support to licensees of our software products and supporting the marketing of products (such as MetaRisk®) within the insurance industry
Requirements
Completed (university or university of applied sciences) degree in (business/insurance) mathematics with in-depth statistical or stochastic knowledge, and ideally membership in the German Actuarial Society (DAV)
This position is open to both entry-level candidates and applicants with relevant professional experience in reinsurance, with a focus on non-life insurance
Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues and to communicate them clearly
Confident presence internally and externally, with strong customer and service orientation
Proficient use of the MS Office suite; ideally knowledge of one of the programming languages Python or R
Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
