About this role
Role Overview
- Achieve revenue and gross profit (GP) targets in the assigned territory
- Build, motivate and develop the sales team
- Implement strategic initiatives within Waters Advanced Diagnostics
- Establish and maintain personal relationships with relevant key opinion leaders
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Develop, align and implement appropriate measures to meet targets
- Work closely with Product Management and Key Account Management
- Plan and conduct sales meetings
- Provide regular reporting in line with reporting requirements
Requirements
- Degree in a scientific discipline (PhD preferred) or equivalent qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience leading a sales region
- Proven sales success in the relevant market segment
- Experience managing cross-functional, large-scale projects
- Experience delivering training programs
- Strong commercial, analytical and business management skills
- Confident command of current sales techniques
- Advanced knowledge of sales processes involving procurement tenders
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%)
