The HR Business Analyst II serves as a key analytical partner to HR and business stakeholders, taking ownership of complex reporting, advanced data analysis, and cross-functional initiatives.
Prepare, validate, and distribute recurring HR reports and dashboards with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Perform data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify data issues, trends, or inconsistencies.
Support ad-hoc and recurring reports from Workday.
Ensure all deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time to internal stakeholders, including HR leadership and business partners.
Conduct data audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity across HR systems.
Own deliverables end–to–end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity in outputs to diverse internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards (advanced, DAX, RLS models) and support optimization of reporting capabilities.
Manage daily HR case activity through the HR Service Delivery platform (e.g., Workday Help, ServiceNow), ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
Serve as the first line of support for HR-related reporting inquiries, escalating complex cases as appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in HR reporting, HR operations, or a related analytical role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, lookups, charts).
Advanced knowledge on Power BI, storyboarding, and generating descriptive insights.
Good understanding of HR metrics and concepts such as headcount, turnover, and attrition.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to assess data for accuracy and context.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data quality.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
