Manage and grow assigned accounts while concurrently seeking new vertical customers
Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with the customer
Work effectively with internal personnel, create a strategic account plan, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce to meet or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets
Assess customer needs and generate resulting proposals, promoting our products and services in a timely manner
Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts
Negotiate master service agreements (MSAs) and contracts with the assistance of our legal department
Demonstrated strong controls applications intelligence, understanding of data center urgency, challenges, and unique mission critical requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center or mission-critical sales, project management, or solutions-based technical selling
Ability to travel 25-50%
Valid driving license
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)
Experience using CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, estimating or proposal software) to manage pipelines and drive results
Building Automation and/or HVAC Controls Sales experience (preferred)
Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills
Collaboration skills for working in a team environment
Microsoft Office Suite
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to influence customer’s key decision makers
