Strategic Planning: Build the overall enterprise talent management roadmap in partnership with HRBPs; drive integration and coordination across all recurring and new talent management initiatives for an optimal employee experience.
Innovation: Leverage external and internal research, creativity, and recent AI and technology developments to drive experimentation and new approaches.
Program Design & Development: Leverage talent management expertise and apply design thinking to improve talent management programs at Dropbox. This includes developing proposals for high-level concepts and detailed program design.
Program Management & Execution: Lead talent management projects and initiatives from planning to delivery. Includes developing and executing detailed project plans with cross-functional stakeholders to drive positive, measurable talent outcomes and results.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Build collaborative and effective relationships with cross-functional partners across the People (HR) team to drive execution in a distributed work environment.
Change management: Influence and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders using thoughtful change management approaches and tactics. Develop clear, high-impact communications in order to drive understanding and action from leaders, managers, and employees.
Technology: Interface with the People Technology team to improve the effectiveness and experience of our processes through tech innovation, tool enhancements, and new AI capabilities.
Talent Data Insights: Work with the People Analytics team to understand external and internal talent trends and data and measure the effectiveness of talent management programs to inform future recommendations. Design a efficient, cohesive approach to measurement across the talent management team.
People Management: Own people management for direct reports, including onboarding, performance management, and growth planning, while providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to support individual development and engagement.
Requirements
University degree (BA/BS)
8+ years of experience in talent management or organizational development at a global, dynamic company and/or a leading management consulting firm.
A minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience
Experience in performance management in addition to other areas of talent management: talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, career frameworks and pathways, skills inventories and internal mobility, ideally within Workday
Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills. You take a consultative and data-driven analytical approach to solving complex problems.
Ability to flex between “big picture” strategic planning and “in the weeds” program execution excellence.
Deep project management and execution experience and with an extraordinary eye for detail and exceptional data skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence; you are skilled in packaging and presenting complex analysis and recommendations clearly.
Experience with talent management tools and Workday, and frequent use of AI to scale personal productivity and improve workflows.
Ability to treat employee experience as a product, applying product management and design thinking to understand needs, prototype solutions, and drive execution through strong project management and data-driven iteration.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools in the flow of work. Candidates with a pre-existing comfort level & familiarity using AI to enhance productivity are strongly preferred.
