Support budget holders and senior management in defining best practices for financial measurement.
Promote best practices among teams, share efficiencies, and support goal achievement by leveraging operational and financial knowledge.
Evolve financial reporting to provide the Senior Leadership Team with timely information for decision-making.
Collaborate with FABP team and extended finance during development of the annual budget and bi-annual revisions, ensuring timely deliverables and alignment with Agency goals.
Provide guidance and support for the annual planning cycle.
Ensure excellence in revenue planning, budgeting, and reporting for a portfolio of teams and divisions.
Maintain integrity of budget tools and train staff as needed.
Analyze and summarize revenue and expense inputs, ensuring accurate translation into sources and uses.
Coordinate detailed reviews of business units' P&L.
Review, validate, and support the upload of final budgets into Agresso.
Lead and manage financial analysis and business partnering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timely delivery, and adherence to budget constraints.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Train relevant audiences on budget and planning, ensuring high-quality client service.
Maintain accurate internal process documentation, including updates to the Finance Manual and creation/enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience providing financial planning, analysis, or business partnering support in a complex organization
Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships across diverse HQ divisions
Proven ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and resource‑allocation processes
Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency with financial modeling and variance analysis
Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and levels of financial literacy
Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond quickly to stakeholder needs, and deliver high‑quality work under tight timelines
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence
Proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP platforms, reporting systems)
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment, including coordination with global or cross‑functional teams
