Supporting transformative initiatives by collaborating with team members to partner with senior stakeholders to modernize financial processes through innovative solutions
Leading the implementation of Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools, including Power Apps solutions, and presenting solutions to stakeholders for iterative feedback
Creating performance metrics and interactive dashboards utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, and more
Identifying and implementing process improvements over financial tools and templates, and using technology to improve financial management
Assessing existing business processes and procedures to identify pain points and areas for improvement. This includes coordination with process stakeholders to complete current-state assessments, review of relevant documentation to gain a thorough understanding, and evaluation and recommendation of future-state solutions
Assisting in the creation of project plans to support the execution of end-to-end development efforts and ensuring that realistic timelines are set, communicated, and followed through, barring any significant holdups
Communicating project task updates to senior-level executive clients on a regular basis and confirming shared understanding
Collaborating with senior team members to embed financial management standards into the design and development of solutions, ensuring alignment with federal financial policies, audit readiness, and operational integrity
Coordinating with other team members and/or building necessary skills to develop financial automation, data analytics, data visualization, and/or artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for financial management use cases. This may include: building financial metrics and supporting dashboards utilizing data visualization software (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, etc.); building low-code applications and user interfaces (using PowerApps, Power Platforms, Appian, ServiceNow, etc.); building AI models to process and analyze high volumes of structured and unstructured financial data (using Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, Python, R, SQL, etc.).
Requirements
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field
TWO (2) years of experience in business transformation, financial management, data analytics, audit or accounting.
Experience with low-code and no-code technology platforms, including SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Tableau
Heightened attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations.
Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems and apply a variety of solutions, and lead client-facing discussions and meetings
Experience with: Leading client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior-level leadership
Utilizing project management best practices
Working in teams to produce high-impact work products
Documenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvements
Conducting research to investigate client problems and working collaboratively with a team to formulate and recommend solutions
