Deliver responsive technical support for end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, while supporting helpdesk operations such as ticket management, ticket response, and employee/contractor onboarding and offboarding.
Assist in the administration of IT systems, including user account management, system updates, and security configurations.
Participate in IT project planning and execution, including the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
Create and maintain clear IT SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge articles; produce end‑user one‑pagers (FAQs/how‑tos) for common issues and repeat questions.
Enforce cybersecurity best practices and policies, including managing security certifications and data access.
Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure—including firewalls, switches, and access points. Support physical network infrastructure work (cabling/patching, closets/racks as applicable), and new office deployments and upgrades. Monitor network performance, configure security settings, and respond to alerts to ensure a secure and reliable IT environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
0-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT infrastructure management.
Experience with project management and vendor relations is a plus.
Ability to work in the Washington, D.C., or Salt Lake City, UT office a minimum of 3 days per week.
