About this role
Role Overview
Provide high-level customer service to members for all administrative questions related to the group insurance plan
Act as an intermediary and maintain regular communication with members and the insurer
Analyze and process information received from members and make required adjustments using databases and internal information systems
Calculate and prepare documents detailing taxable deductions and benefits
Assist in preparing quotes and renewals
Help set up plans for new members
Provide support to other team members for additional administrative tasks
Requirements
College diploma in administration, human resources, insurance, or another field related to the role
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in employee benefits administration, payroll processing, or a related area
Knowledge of government programs affecting group insurance (for example: drug insurance, sickness employment insurance, CNESST)
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
Good command of common IT tools, including the MS Office suite (intermediate level Excel)
Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
Discretion, diplomacy, and impeccable professionalism
Demonstrates empathy, courtesy, patience, and adaptability
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and rigor
