Define strategy, develop and execute plans to grow retail generics sales, drive customer engagement, and optimize operations, including customer service, demand planning, and data analytics.
Work closely with internal functions to ensure alignment on strategies, objectives, and customer needs.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 50 people, focusing on national retail and key account sales groups while delivering essential business analytics and modernizing customer engagement models.
Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to generate revenue growth and ensure successful product launches.
Build strong customer relationships to expand business opportunities and maximize market demand.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
10+ years of sales leadership in pharmaceuticals (preferably generics), with strong knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market
Progressive leadership experience managing functions in one or more relevant business areas (marketing, product management, customer service, supply chain, etc.)
Strong strategic and operational skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional sales teams and drive business success and innovation
Proven ability to lead large teams, manage budgets, and drive change
Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging technology and data within the industry and understanding of its competitive implications
Excellent communication skills; bilingual in French and English preferred
Proficiency in English is required to communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams located outside of Quebec.
