About this role
Role Overview
Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities
Perform on-site system and equipment installation, testing, preventive maintenance, repair and calibration, including both low voltage and high voltage (>600 volts) tasks
Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer’s sites
Perform administrative functions such as: writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis
Knowledge to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance check out for wide range of equipment vintage
Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
Supervise critical tasks when these activities are performed by third parties
Requirements
Technical/University degree in an Engineering Discipline from an accredited university or college OR (High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Field Services role, OR 6+ years of experience in a field services or power generation equipment maintenance position)
Experience using electrical test equipment including Megohmmeters, Hipot test sets, Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeters, and Multimeters
Strong technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams
English proficiency required
