About this role

Conducts registration, point of service collections and obtains authorizations and forms needed to maximize reimbursement
Collect payments and meet regular collection targets
Provides financial counseling to patients and their families
Acts as a liaison between the patient, billing department, vendors, physician offices and payor to enhance account receivables performance
Communicates with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital staff
Works independently under regular supervision and follows structured work routines

High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
Requires knowledge of patient financial services, financial
One or more years of work experience
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (if working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital)
