Own and prepare SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and other required public company disclosures
Lead full-cycle accounting operations, including month-end and quarter-end close
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, SOX, and ASC 606
Prepare and review technical accounting memos and support audits and external reporting requirements
Manage and develop a small accounting team (1–2 direct reports)
Oversee internal controls, compliance processes, and coordination with external auditors and advisors
Maintain and improve accounting processes, policies, and documentation in a fast-paced environment
Work closely with cross-functional leaders to support business initiatives and future growth
Operate comfortably in the details while maintaining a strategic mindset

Public accounting experience required
Demonstrated experience preparing and filing SEC reports (10-Ks, 10-Qs)
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and revenue recognition under ASC 606
Experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a public company
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred
CPA designation preferred
Proven ability to manage and mentor a small accounting team
Exceptional attention to detail with a willingness to get into the weeds
Self-starter who thrives in a hands-on, remote work environment
