Supports the execution and accuracy of monthly close reporting cycles by reviewing journal entries and financial outputs.
Ensures alignment with Finance leadership expectations and data integrity.
Identifies and implements process improvements in financial operations workflows.
Maintains templates and hierarchy structures to support reporting and compliance.
Supports the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by coordinating inputs and metrics for monthly forecast cycles and Portfolio Management Reviews (PMRs).
Manages and coaches a team of finance analysts or specialists.
Conducts training, tracks team output, and supports resolution of recurring process challenges.
Responds to ad hoc financial questions or escalations in coordination with Strategic Finance Advisors or Finance leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Ability to build trusted partnerships with Strategic Finance Advisors and collaborate effectively across Finance Operations
Experience managing professional employees and supporting delivery of team goals
Strong coordination and communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Accounting, Engineering, Operations)
Ability to interpret and reconcile data discrepancies; apply structure to financial processes
Problem-solving mindset with attention to continuous improvement and root cause identification
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business finance systems (e.g., Oracle, OneStream)
Familiarity with US GAAP and internal control requirements in financial processes.
