Generate key messaging, value propositions, communications, and content strategies for each of Megaport’s brands to drive the business’s go-to-market engine.
Deliver large data-informed content projects and communications pieces that further Megaport’s industry-leading position in the market.
Manage the production of content and communications assets that inform and educate our customers across all points of the marketing funnel.
Support the creation of investor relations materials such as annual reports and press releases to deliver stakeholder updates.
Collaborate with all areas of the business, using our expert teams’ collective knowledge to inform content that resonates with our customers.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, Partners, Customer Success, Marketing) to mine key stories and leverage subject matter experts to extend Megaport thought leadership.
Effectively integrate data, both quantitative and qualitative, into copy, planning, and problem-solving.
Be a leader and support the marketing team in levelling-up its capabilities.
Requirements
A natural educator who loves breaking down complex concepts into simple, snackable nuggets.
Killer communication skills. You can talk to engineers, marketers, technical product managers, and customers and make each group feel like you’re speaking their language.
Self-motivated and curious. You know how to chase down answers, test things out, and turn experiments into lessons that others can follow.A sense of humor and a healthy dose of nerdy passion. We take our craft seriously, but not ourselves.
At least 6 years of experience as a content manager/strategist (good mix of strategy projects with at least three years of content strategy experience)
Experience at B2B technology companies required
Knowledge of the latest digital tools, vendors, and trends with perspective on how to apply them to drive Megaport thought leadership
Superb writing and editing skills. You’re not afraid to use AI to speed up production and ideation, but are very capable without it.
Strong organization, management, and communication skills
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and autonomyStringent attention to detail
Ability to excel in a globally-distributed team environment.
