Shadow GM and Chief of Staff for Oncology Business Unit, gaining firsthand exposure to executive decision-making, strategic planning, leadership team meetings, and the operating rhythms of a large, complex commercial organization.
Engage with the U.S. Oncology Leadership Team, U.S. Business Operations leadership, and cross-functional partners (Marketing, Sales, Value & Access, Medical, Commercial Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D) to understand how diverse teams collaborate to bring medicines to patients.
Develop a foundational understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, including the end-to-end lifecycle of a medicine—from research and development through regulatory approval, manufacturing, commercialization, and post-launch management.
Support real business initiatives and strategic projects aligned to Oncology priorities, contributing analysis, insights, and recommendations that help inform leadership discussions and decisions.
Participate in brand planning, commercial strategy, and execution discussions, gaining exposure to how marketing strategy, field execution, and customer engagement are designed and implemented in a regulated healthcare environment.
Observe and learn how data and analytics inform business decisions, including market insights, performance tracking, forecasting, and measurement of commercial impact.
Build executive-ready communication skills by synthesizing complex information, developing presentation materials, and delivering a final readout or recommendation to senior leaders at the conclusion of the internship.

Requirements
18 years or older
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op
