Accounting: Independently record and process all ongoing business transactions, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting, as well as entries for bank accounts, petty cash, credit cards, and travel expenses.
Financial Statements: Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all osapiens entities in Germany and abroad.
360° Responsibility: Take full financial responsibility for selected osapiens entities, including audit support, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Payments: Execute and monitor group-wide payment transactions.
Accounting & Reporting Standards: Clarify accounting principles and handle complex business transactions in cooperation with tax advisors, auditors, and controlling.
Reconciliations: Responsible for account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and statistical reporting.
Business Partnering: Support specialist departments and international subsidiaries as a competent finance business partner.
Integration: Onboard and integrate new entities into the accounting system landscape.
Optimization: Continuously develop existing processes and systems, particularly focusing on fast-close readiness and internal control systems.
Projects: Participate in special projects such as implementing a new ERP system, internationalization initiatives, or M&A processes.
Requirements
Completed vocational training with further qualification as a tax clerk or certified accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting.
Several years of professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in accounting, including strong experience with annual financial statement audits and accounting-related projects, ideally in an international environment.
Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and tax law; additional knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP (including SOX) is an advantage.
Ability to work within complex IT system landscapes and improve them; experience standardizing and digitalizing accounting processes.
Confident user of Excel, DATEV, and CRM systems. Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
Fluent German (C2) and very good English skills (B2), both written and spoken.
