Skilled Warehouse Worker – Bandsaw Operator

Role Overview

• Dismantle pallets using industrial bandsaws and multiple types of pallet breakdown equipment to meet quality and production expectations.
• Partner with team members to operate production equipment precisely and consistently to ensure high-quality output.
• Perform daily inspections of bandsaw and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Adjust and control equipment settings as needed for different pallet types and materials.
• Evaluate pallet components to determine usability and ensure they meet PLA quality standards.
• Stack, sort, and store reusable materials in designated areas and properly dispose of unusable components.
• Maintain established production rates while meeting safety and quality goals.
• Keep your workspace clean, orderly, and compliant with safety protocols to reduce accidents.
• Escalate technical, safety, or process issues to leadership immediately.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including federal and state safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, construction, lumber processing, or a similar hands-on role (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of operating industrial bandsaws and other mechanical saws, including basic use and maintenance (preferred).
• Ability to work with high-powered saws and production machinery in a fast-paced assembly line environment while meeting or exceeding daily goals and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, imperfections, and quality issues in pallet components.
• Commitment to operating tools and equipment safely and following all safety rules and protocols.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others on a production team.
