Role Overview
- The Dairy Sales Specialist represents Purina Animal Nutrition products to dealers and producers
- Build and grow strong relationships with assigned dealers and co-ops
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage sales calls and customer satisfaction
- Use CRM systems to manage customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and achieve results
- Participate in training sessions to enhance sales skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or a related field
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant sales and/or animal nutrition experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze sales data
- General management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools
- Willingness to travel overnight approximately 10-20%.
