About this role
Role Overview
Researching the needs of youth, YSA, local leaders, and Church employees who participate in global conferences.
Taking ownership of specific digital products or initiatives and managing them from concept to implementation.
Gathering and synthesizing user feedback to improve product experience and guide future enhancements.
Creating training materials and user guides to support customers as they use digital tools and platforms.
Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to define feature priorities, troubleshoot issues, and align experiences with Church standards.
Creating and troubleshooting events in an event management software platform.

Requirements
Applicants for this internship must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or they must have recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within one year of beginning their internship).
Strong understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy.
The ability to manage many projects simultaneously.
The ability to give careful attention to detail, sustain concentration for long periods of time, and maintain the highest level of accuracy.
The ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism.
Understanding of technical systems & platforms and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preference will be given to applicants who are taking classes in or have experience with user experience design, product strategy, human-centered design, web tools, or event technology.
Ambitious self-starter who deals well with ambiguity and multi-project environment.
A history of solving problems through user testing and data driven decision making.
Experience translating UX testing and feedback into impactful new features.
Ability to speak a foreign language is a plus.
