Role Overview
- Preparation and/or review of more complex federal and state income tax returns.
- Preparation of more complex consolidated book-tax differences for tax compliance.
- Support or manage various tax audits or appeals.
- Respond to all manners of tax notices.
- Engage and contribute to department projects or initiatives.
- Mentor and develop tax analysts.
Requirements
- 5 years of recent corporate tax or public accounting experience.
- Experience with tax software, preferably CorpTax.
- Experience with tax research software, preferably BNA, RIA or CCH.
- Understanding of accounting concepts and the application of those concepts to tax related issues.
- 3-5 years of corporate tax, public accounting or related experience.
