Role Overview
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
- Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments as needed
- Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates
Requirements
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
- Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments as needed
- Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates
- Strong hands-on experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Ability to write detailed, clear, and comprehensive test cases; execute test cases effectively
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent; ability to document defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and priority
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium)
- Ability to write testing scripts using Selenium
- Keen observational skills to identify inconsistencies and defects
- Ability to write and execute simple SQL queries to validate backend data
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and browser developer tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
- Ability to analyze requirements and design appropriate test scenarios
- Experience or ability to coordinate test environment setup and configuration
- Knowledge of performance and security testing fundamentals
- Experience in mobile application testing
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- S100D specification knowledge
- Azure DevOps familiarity
