Manages and maintains database based on defined standards relative to Medical Surgical devices and supplies to ensure data quality for the GHX customer base
Performs complex ad hoc queries on multiple large data sets to identify data issues and initiate corrective action
Gathers and interprets data to propose actionable plans and solutions to drive process efficiencies
Manages the planning and development of design and procedures for metrics reporting
Contributes to the development of standards, processes, and procedures that support Content Operations goals and objectives
Collaborate with Clinical Data Specialists to implement processes and report-based applications to increase data management efficiency and quality.
Produces and maintains process documentation related to relevant work activities
Works closely with Product Management, Development and other Cross-Functional teams providing timely feedback for requirements supporting Operational needs
Acts as technical liaison to data platform Technology teams by developing extensive knowledge of the data architecture.
Coordinates and facilitates professional relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to serve as provider/supplier advocate in relation to medical product data quality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, preferably in a healthcare-related discipline
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Management, Healthcare supply chain or related field.
Advanced SQL proficiency for data querying and analysis
Advanced MS Excel proficiency
Strong analytical skills in interpreting various data sets
