About this role
Role Overview
Contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects
Support and enhance auditing processes and reporting capabilities
Frequently engage with various departments to contribute to finance-based projects
Support department budget analysis, reporting, and portfolio modelling
Identify gaps in sponsorship and consulting fee reporting
Identify departmental risks and communicate options to mitigate these risks
Ensure Olympus takes all appropriate steps to abide by state and federal laws
Collaborate with your supervisor and team to complete role-related assignments and projects
Actively engage in and add value to meetings and discussions
Engage in other duties, as necessary
Requirements
Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution
Preferred fields of study include Finance, Accounting, or similar business-related discipline
Must complete two (2) years of undergrad before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends
Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship
Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.)
Experience with the fundamental principles of finance and/or accounting
Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills
Must be proficient and have practical working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment (preferred)
Strong, professional communication skills (preferred)
Skilled in presentation development and public speaking (preferred)
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks (preferred)
General curiosity and a desire to learn new material (preferred)
