Perform model-based systems engineering (MBSE) functional and behavior analysis for a software and hardware integrated system
Participate in a MBSE environment to develop system-of-systems requirements via system/component trade studies and analysis
Contribute to publishing change notices to system specification and update of requirements databases, architectural models, interface definitions, and trace system and Element level requirements
Document analysis results in reports and briefings for critique and review by internal and external stakeholders
Create and present briefings within the team and external stakeholders
Lead system engineering in the development of requirements, model, and tracking status of verification
Perform detailed tracking of changes to system requirements and verification
Decompose hardware and software requirements from the Prime item design specification (PIDS)
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
5 years of related experience, or a Master's STEM Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of related experience with a PhD
Strong prior experience with use of MSOSA (Cameo) and DOORS
Strong hardware and software technical background in architecture development, functional decomposition, requirements development and allocation, and interface definition with system-modelling tools
Strong background in MBSE and the use of SysML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance
