Monitor and manage financial oversight for the CTSI ancillary groups
Identify and make recommendations to the CAO and/or Finance Director regarding opportunities for improvement in operations and processes
Assist operations personnel, especially project leaders, as a resource to resolve financial issues on projects
Provide monthly comprehensive financial reports for the ancillary groups
Oversee financial and administrative management of the Project Baseline Health Study Biorepository
Serve as liaison between faculty and the RASR PAL/GM1 to coordinate and support pre
and post-award activities
Manage funds for the Duke Kannapolis Clinical Research Facility
Participate in reviewing and negotiating financial issues in proposals and contracts
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
CAP is desirable
Work requires a minimum of six years’ experience in financial management, cost accounting or a field directly related to specialized area of assignment
