Write clean, efficient SQL queries (joins, CTEs, subqueries, aggregations) to extract, transform, and analyze data in BigQuery and other relational environments
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and recurring reports in Looker and Power BI
Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data mismatches, and take proactive steps to resolve inaccuracies
Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and engineering to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including explanations of how and why deliverables were built
Complete assigned reporting and analytics tasks through DevOps, including documentation of work performed and deliverables produced
Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting consistency, metric reliability, and reusable datasets
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
1–2 years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field
Internship, co-op, or hands-on academic project experience working with SQL and structured datasets is strongly preferred
Strong SQL experience, including:
JOINS, CTEs, subqueries, and aggregate functions
Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot data mismatches with a critical eye for detail
Solid understanding of data types (e.g., STRING, DATE, INT64)
Familiarity with database schema concepts and structured data environments
Experience with Power BI and/or Looker (LookML is a plus)
Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor)
Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables
