Provide assistance and guidance to US Military leadership regarding pertinent cultural, religious, linguistic, and geopolitical information.
Provide intelligence support by attending engagements (conferences, meetings, training events, discussions with local leaders etc.) and providing feedback to the Command.
Assist in training military personnel regarding national and local affairs on issues relating to politics, governance, social and economic, development, and tribal dynamics in African partner nations.
Provide culturally specific information and perspectives to operations within the AOR to support security cooperation, contingency, crisis action, and strategic planning and operations.
Use foreign language fluency and regional expertise to offer knowledge of and assistance with historical, political, economic, and social aspects of engagement strategies and international relations on how those issues apply to the interests the United States holds within specific countries and regions.
Requirements
Fluency/expertise in listening, speaking, writing, and reading in the designated languages: Required languages are English, French and Arabic.
Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Willing to work rotating shifts as needed
that may include nights and weekends.
Use experience with social media applications relevant to the speaking audience of North West Africa.
Ability to conduct research to determine key foreign communicators their leanings and target audiences.
Ability to work independently in austere environment and demonstrates strong initiative.
Possesses competent computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications.
