Role Overview
- Oversee and shape Avantor’s intellectual property strategies and commercial partnering initiatives
- Develop and execute tactical and operational plans
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across R&D, commercial, and legal teams
- Act as a primary advisor to the General Counsel
- Manage Avantor’s intellectual property portfolio worldwide
- Monitor industry trends and manage adversarial proceedings
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 10+ years of significant experience counseling and advising senior management on Intellectual Property issues
- Proven track record in structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- High integrity and ethical behavior
- Excellent listening skills and sensitivity to different cultures
