Role Overview
- Perform validation tests on electric propulsion systems such as electric motors, inverters, battery chargers and vehicle controllers.
- Prepare test bench setups including fixtures, installation of the equipment under test, and installation of instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and torque meters.
- Execute tests according to the test plan.
- Write test reports to document the results.
- Identify and develop technical solutions when issues are encountered during testing.
- Keep technical documentation up to date.
- Maintain 5S housekeeping on the test bench.
Requirements
- AEC in Electric Vehicle technology or a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Electrical and/or Electronics.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience as an electronics technician or machine operator.
- Essential: familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, accelerometers, etc.
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
- Proactive, committed and solution-oriented.
- Team player.
- Functional English to communicate with our colleagues in the United States.
