The Sales Representative works closely with support of the Manufacturing Team, Suppliers and Inside Sales to introduce products to new customers, and foster relationships with current ones.
Working closely with current customers to manage and maintain existing accounts that help grow sale
Build long-term, dynamic relationships with new customers and introduce them to new product and service solutions
Meet and exceed planned sales and margin targets through cooperation with Sales Manager, Inside Sales Support, Manufacturing Team and Supplier Sales Representatives
Track Customer orders and communicating any updates or potential issues
Work with the Business Units to understand, troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise in quality, delivery, etc.
Requirements
Candidates with experience in building materials including cabinet, commercial casework markets, construction project management, direct sales to OEM accounts are desired, but are not required.
Ability to travel overnight
Must have excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization with the ability to build genuine relationships
Driven and creative self-starter with passion to go above and beyond expectations
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with an affinity towards servicing customers and providing solutions
A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities
Self-motivated to work independently with changing priorities and the ability to adapt quickly
Must be well organized
Ability to delegate sales support related projects/tasks and the ability to follow through
Assure proper processing of customer orders, product costing, pricing and quote generation in conjunction with Customer Service for the Business Unit
