Join our dynamic tax team as Tax Analyst, where you'll take an active part in helping clients navigate complex state unemployment insurance (SUI) tax matters.
Ensure accuracy of unemployment insurance (UI) tax rates and resolve discrepancies with state agencies.
Develop strategies to improve client tax positions and support planning through reports and projections.
Manage incoming tax documents, maintain organized records, and ensure compliance through agency communication.
Provide informed analysis and contribute to strategic discussions to support client decision-making.
Requirements
2 years of experience in a tax-related role involving State Unemployment Insurance (SUI).
Exposure to multi-state tax environments or working with state agencies is beneficial.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Analytical approach to working with complex datasets.
Written and verbal abilities to support client relations and agency coordination.
Experience organizing workloads, demonstrating reliability under time constraints, and contributing in both solo and group efforts.
