Structure, draft, negotiate, and close secured real estate finance transactions (including term, construction, mezzanine, and co-lender loans) for various commercial real estate asset types (including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, data center, and more)
Oversee closing managers, outside counsel, and third-party originators
Mitigate transactional risks and resolve closing hurdles with practical solutions
Implement and expand upon technology-based efficiency solutions, including document automation and document management systems
Stay current on legal developments to update forms and processes
Provide legal counsel and technical guidance to internal investment team.
Requirements
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
8+ years’ experience negotiating and closing complex commercial real estate loans, preferably lender-side work
Strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
