Responsible for evaluation, creation, and implementation of therapy plans
Accurate and reliable data collection
Consultation and training with family and staff
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans
Provide individual therapy to clients focusing on speech, language, feeding, AAC, and social skills
Maintain current licensure and certification
Complete documentation responsibilities including pre-authorizations, evaluations, and progress reports
Represent BY YOUR SIDE to local, state, and national organizations in a positive manner when attending professional seminars
Travel to other centers for required trainings
Requirements
High interest in working with children on autism spectrum
Flexibility and dependability with schedule
Familiarity with relevant assessment tools and procedures
Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies
Exceptional problem solving and strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as collaboration skills
Ability to think creatively and adjust style and approach
Open to give and receive feedback and listen to and acknowledge the feelings, concerns, opinions and ideas of others
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with changing priorities and dependability, from any location
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and produce high quality deliverables with a strong attention to details
Proficiency in use of basic technology systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams.
