Maintain a comprehensive therapy plan for each client while maintaining a 45 sessions per week scheduled caseload unless otherwise directed by Sr. Director Speech.
Provide individual therapy to clients focusing on a variety of areas including speech, language, feeding (in IL market only), AAC, and social skills.
Participate in collaboration with BCBAs, OTs, outside providers, and families to provide a consistent continuum of care for clients.
Maintain current licensure and certification with state organization as well as American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA) while abiding by the ethical standards.
Represent BY YOUR SIDE to local, state, and national organizations in a positive manner when attending professional seminars.
Provide input and assist in the ongoing growth and development of BY YOUR SIDE.
Travel, as necessary, to other centers to participate in required trainings such as CPR, Safety Care Training, and professional development.
Uphold and maintain BYS core principles, policies and procedures and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
Permanent licensure provided by state organization
Temporary license must be obtained prior to starting Clinical Fellowship year, if applicable
Illinois: Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Certificate of Clinical Competence as provided by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), if not in Clinical Fellowship Year.
High interest in working with children on autism spectrum, flexibility and dependability with schedule.
Familiarity relevant assessment tools and procedures
Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies.
Exceptional problem solving and strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as collaboration skills.
