Serve in project management capacity and will be involved in client contact functions depending upon need and availability.
Project management responsibilities include organizing, budgeting, executing and coordinating project assignments as well as responsibility for client contact and project administration.
Point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, facilitating external coordination with design teams, general contractors and regulatory agencies, as needed.
Responsible for leading the team responsible for conducting technical studies and preparing written reports.
Responsible for leading the team responsible for design work including conceptual project design and preparation of construction drawings, other contract documents, and project cost estimates.
Responsible for managing and tracking quality, scope, schedule, and budget to meet expected metrics.
Responsible for developing cost-saving strategies, including change order scopes and fees.
Lead proposal efforts by developing scope and schedule and coordinating fee estimates by design leads.
Assists in client management.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, construction management engineering or a related field AND 7+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Registered PMP preferred
Proficiency in project management software, such as Smartsheet, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project, etc.
Project management experience in organizing, budgeting, executing and coordinating project assignments
Thorough knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements to implement into the project.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor staff in project management best practices
Capable of aligning project execution with project goals while maintaining scope, schedule & fee.
Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time.
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to travel as needed (15%-30%) based on job level and expertise for project site & field visits, conferences, training, and professional outings.
