Provides strategic leadership for the Revenue Management department.
Ensures compliance with governmental and payer regulations and manages operations and fiscal matters.
Drives revenue optimization while preventing leakage.
Directs charge capture, reconciliation, pricing, and reimbursement practices.
Provides education, auditing, and monitoring.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Business, Health Information Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or COC required.
Minimum of 10 years in hospital health information, clinical coding, and/or revenue cycle management, such as strategic pricing, chargemaster, revenue integrity, etc.
Strong analytical skills to assess operational needs and implement effective processes, protocols, and tools.
Proven track record in managing priorities, organizing work structures, and leading teams in fast-paced environments.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; adept at collaborating across all levels of management.
Maintains current knowledge of industry requirements and regulations, including documentation and billing practices, through review of Federal Registers, OIG, and other publications.
