Role Overview
- Investigates claims
- Secures and analyzes necessary information in the investigation of claims
- Maintains claim documentation
- Reviews and evaluates coverage
- Works toward successful resolution of claims
- Attends arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary
- Settles matters and sets reserves within prescribed limits
- Conveys complex information to all appropriate parties
- Ensures claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner
- Provides technical advice to lower-level positions
- May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of related experience
