Support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of employee benefit and wellness programs by analyzing costs, regulatory requirements, market competitiveness, and employee engagement
Conduct benchmarking, research industry trends, monitor legislative developments, and assess potential impacts
Serve as a subject matter expert on health and welfare benefits, leave programs, and workplace health and safety policies, exercising discretion and delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
Develop and deliver clear, effective employee communications across multiple channels, including the company intranet, plan materials, onboarding, training sessions, and individual consultations, including onboarding and annual open enrollment
Plan and support audit controls through the collection, analysis, and reporting of benefit plan and program data and trends
Draft and maintain departmental procedures and documentation in accordance with compliance guidelines
Manage special projects such as data cleanup initiatives, system upgrades, vendor transitions, and data analysis
Provide support for team initiatives, including events and wellbeing programs, and track and report progress on assigned projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
5+ years of experience in related field, showing role progression and increased responsibility
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field
Experience with Workday Benefits administration preferred
Strong analytical skills, including experience with benefit audits, benchmarking, and financial analysis of benefit and wellness program costs, utilization, and return on investment
Hands-on experience managing health, welfare, and retirement plans, including vendor management, particularly within self-funded medical plans and 401(k) plans at small to mid-sized organizations
