About this role
Role Overview
- Prepare financial statements and provide year-over-year variance analyses with clear, meaningful explanations
- Review departmental budget-to-actual reports on a quarterly basis
- Reconcile expenses with department leads ensuring proper coding accuracy
- Analyze and review all General Ledger activity within accounts
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual and Quarterly regulatory filings such as: Form 5500, Form 990, Form 990-T, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Accountant
- Understand and apply advance knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Ability to present financial information clearly to multiple levels of Management/Trustees
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics F&O (or equivalent Accounting system) preferred.
