Water/Wastewater Process Design Associate

Role Overview

• Develop plans, specifications, reports, estimates, and conceptual inputs for water/wastewater and water‑resources projects
• Prepare SCADA Sequences of Operations and use CADD tools to produce PFDs, P&IDs, construction drawings, and complete preliminary/final plan sets
• Collaborate with internal/external engineering teams to produce design plans, reports, drawings, BOMs, and technical details
• Execute tasks from senior designers, prepare detailed and layout drawings for complex or original designs and determine material types, specifications, and quantities
• Coordinate with departments, disciplines, clients, vendors, project managers, and engineers to support deliverables
• Prepare Installation Operations Manuals, integrate vendor equipment into system architecture and control schemes
• Read and interpret orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and apply standard drafting/design principles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field required
• 0-2 years of engineering design, 3D modeling and CADD workstation experience
• EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and AutoCAD/Civil 3D
