Develop and complete the technical review of electrical training programs
Create content for various internal communication channels and product teams
Create YouTube videos and social posts covering various technical topics
Write explanatory content for NFPA LiNK®, handbooks, blogs, and articles
Ideate and support the development of artwork, visual aids, and videos for expert commentary
Respond to advisory questions related to multiple electrical topics through various media
Interact with and respond to media inquiries as needed
Advise and act as a subject matter expert in the review and development of new and existing products, training materials, marketing materials, and outreach efforts
Deliver training, presentations and lead seminars on technical topics at industry events
Teach NFPA seminars related to Electrical subject matters both in classroom and through distance learning
Provide input into budgeting activities
Requirements
7-10 years of experience as an electrician, electrical contractor, electrical inspector or electrical engineer/systems designer
Vocational/Technical Degree/Licensure or equivalent
Strong understanding of the NEC®
Fundamental knowledge and experience with the Electrical Cycle of Safety ™ (NFPA 70, 70E, and 70B)
Background in instructing/mentoring (preferred)
Understanding of the various roles in the electrical industry (electrician, electrical contractor, electrical inspector, electrical engineer, etc.)
Experience with developing training materials and public speaking/training large groups
Well versed Social Media skills (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Twitter)
