About this role
Role Overview
Ensure overall direction for Supply Chain (Strategic Supply Management and Procurement)
Create and implement a vision for continual improvement of procurement processes
Establish methodologies to resolve process issues
Ensure processes comply with Government, Corporate and Company requirements
Establish disciplined proposal evaluation teams with supplier selection process
Manage the implementation, maintenance, support and continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management operational programs
Ensure products and services meet quality, cost and schedule objectives
Provide leadership focused on personal and collective accountability
Evaluate internal performance for all aspects of supply chain
Monitor sourcing strategy implementation, contract compliance and customer satisfaction programs
Own strategic processes utilized across the supply chain from proposal pricing to material shipment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or engineering
Minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience in high technology, aerospace or defense or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge of supply chain management tools and procedures
Expert leadership and management skills, particularly 'influence management' and 'conflict resolution'
Significant experience throughout the product lifecycle from New Product Introduction through obsolescence
Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting
Experience in finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR, DFAR regulations
Superior customer interface skills
Expert problem-solving skills
Excellent presentation skills
Must have a successful track record in managing complex aerospace/defense supply chain activities
Must have excellent leadership and oral and written communication skills
Professional certification highly preferred
U.S. Citizenship required
Active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain such clearance
