Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud-native services on AWS
Evaluate and drive adoption of AI-powered developer tools to accelerate velocity and raise code quality
Lead investigation and resolution of production incidents, driving rapid recovery, and implementing long-term fixes
Conduct thorough code reviews and champion automated testing, CI/CD best practices
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on clean code, testing, and system design
Partner with QA to define test strategies
Work hand-in-hand with product managers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements

8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
3+ years working on large-scale retail, e-commerce, or high-throughput consumer domains
Strong proficiency in Java and/or Scala
Solid Python skills are a big plus
Proven experience building and supporting cloud-native microservices and APIs on AWS
Hands-on expertise with Docker and container orchestration
Strong command of SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience in AI-assisted coding tools
Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Excellent communication to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills to mentor and coach
Proactive, organized, and delivery focused in a dynamic Agile environment.
