Role Overview
- Work as part of a team, writing in a consistent shared style
- Collaborate with content creators across the organization to develop and document content guidelines
- Understand complex technical concepts by testing software and interviewing developers and technical support teams
- Collect and incorporate feedback from internal and external customers
- Design and create content (text and graphics) that empowers customers to be self-sufficient, reducing support calls
- Participate in user interface evaluations to make our products easier to use
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-quality content
- Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Knowledge of technical writing methods, trends, and technologies such as structured authoring, single-sourcing, content reuse, etc.
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken (this role requires interaction with our international colleagues and customers)
