About this role
Role Overview
Assist with bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll processing and reconciliation
Responsible for all employee time, earnings, deductions, and tax data for accuracy
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Bi-weekly, run and format audit report; assist in troubleshooting any variances
Assist in testing payroll system changes, enhancements, and integrations
Support year-end activities such as W-2 validation and reporting
Maintain payroll inbox and provide top notch customer service to all employees’ inquiries
Audit data integrity between our HRIS and payroll system
Research and resolve tax inquiries with One Source Virtual
Maintain payroll records and support document retention compliance
Run payroll reports and assist in preparing metrics and dashboards
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data flow
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or related field
3–5 years of payroll or HR data experience
Experience and proficiency in payroll systems, including cloud technologies (preferably Workday Payroll)
Experience working in a SOX controlled environment
Strong work-ethic and are a self-starter with effective organizational skills with attention to detail who proactively seeks out new solutions
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (v lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Ability to troubleshoot data issues and communicate clearly with employees
