About this role
Role Overview
- Provides legal representation for Intact’s subrogation interests before courts, arbitration panels, or other bodies
- Advises claim employees in their handling of pre-suit and litigated claim matters
- Responsible for maintenance and completion of caseload
- Conducts all appropriate legal action to best protect the subrogation and recovery interests of Intact on all assigned cases in an ethical and zealous manner
- Prepares appeals and performs necessary research on motions
- Reviews and reports all large loss cases to Lead Attorney
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience litigating property and/or maritime subrogation claims
- Substantial experience with research, discovery depositions, mediations and trial preparation required
- JD required
