Trial Attorney – Subrogation

Role Overview

• Provides legal representation for Intact’s subrogation interests before courts, arbitration panels, or other bodies
• Advises claim employees in their handling of pre-suit and litigated claim matters
• Responsible for completion of caseload, pre-suit investigation and trial work of some complexity, whether by settlement, trial or appeal
• Works to develop the skills necessary to litigate subrogation files independently
• Interfaces and provides counsel to Intact’s Subrogation Claims department as files develop through pre-suit, litigation, trial or resolution

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience litigating property subrogation claims
• Substantial experience with research, discovery depositions, mediations and trial preparation required
• JD required
