Support the category manager in development and execution of sourcing strategies for designated commodities or product platforms.
Develop projects and activity to deliver continuous cost improvement.
Partner with suppliers to extend payment terms and minimize manufacturing lead time.
Act as a key liaison to facilitate supplier innovation concepts into cross functional development plans.
Work cross functionally and with suppliers to diversify spend geographically with a goal to minimize tariff exposure.
Responsible for supporting the category manager on commercial activities including: Contract management, Project implementation, Quotation preparation and negotiation activities, Supporting regulatory compliance, Vendor and part data management within SAP, Supplier meetings.
Responsible for the supplier identification, quoting process, negotiations, and supplier selection on NPD projects.
Routinely works with global cross-functional project teams: Marketing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain and Program Management.

Bachelor’s degree required.
Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
