Role Overview
Support the Store Manager in executing roles and responsibilities to deliver an exceptional employee and guest experience
Assist in building a high-performing team that represents Newell Brand Values
Support the recruitment, hiring, development, inspiration, and retention of top talent
Help meet and maintain staffing goals
Ensure effective onboarding and ongoing development of team members
Recognize and address HR-related situations through performance management
Motivate and inspire top talent
Provide coaching and foster a positive work environment
Create a store environment focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience
Maximize sales potential by implementing company selling strategies
Drive guest loyalty through Rewards Loyalty program and communication
Maintain store appearance by implementing company visual standards
Analyze the business and create clear action plans for operational activities
Ensure clear, effective team communication
Support inventory management activities and control expenses
Achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals through strategic planning
Requirements
High School completion or equivalent GED
Proven experience in a retail management role (2+ years preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in retail software and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills
Solution-oriented
Must be able to work in fragrance-filled environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
