Serve as Stantec’s Southern New England Structural Team Lead.
Contribute to initiatives to help advance project design, operations, and business development.
Maintain and enhance reputation with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals.
Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams on projects from positioning to proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services.
Represent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leader.
Identify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives.
Manage contract tasks, track, and manage costs and schedule.
Implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Grow internal and external networks to enhance Stantec reputation and identify additional talent.
Develop client relationships to facilitate project activities.
Establish, maintain, and promote partnerships in project pursuits.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members through coaching and performance oversight.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
MA Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering and project management experience with bridge design and transportation project delivery
Experience with the role of deputy design manager, design manager, and or quality manager on mid to large scale projects
Experience leading the design and construction support of complex transportation projects
Experience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Business development experience required
Marketing skills required
Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staff
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environment
Design-Build or other alterative project delivery experience.
